{When Life Gives You a Rainy Day!}

How can you not smile when you look at this adorable image from High Hopes stamps? They have so many adorable images that are perfect for coloring! For this card I used new DP that I picked up from the Target dollar spot yesterday. I know I have said this so many times before but it is tough to beat the awesome deals you can find in the Target dollar spot! I used Bic Markits and SU Markers to color the image. I love Bic Markers and until I win the lottery and could afford to buy all of the Copic markers these will work just fine. The buttons are from the Wal-Mart craft section. If you have not checked out the bags of buttons from Wal-Mart you should because you can get a nice sized package for only 1.84. I love them! The inside of the card has the second part of the sentiment that says " Remember to play in the puddles" Anywho, I hope you have a great day and thank you for visiting my blog today!

  7. What a darling card, Veronica! I love the colors you chose for that cute image. I can't believe you found that paper at Target...I didn't even know about the dollar spot but I'm definitely going to check it out. I feel the same way you do about copic markers. I haven't tried the Bic or Prisma ones either. I'm a bit hooked on the Prismacolor pencils and gamsol for blending. I hear the only real advantage to the copics is the number of color choice they have but at $6.50 a pop I will never be able to have a real stash of them anyway. Back to your card...cute buttons and great sewing. I'm a big fan of doodling around my images too:)) This is a great piece of eye candy!
