{Babies All Around!}

Well, I have been busy making baby cards lately because two dear friends have new baby boys! Hopefully they are too busy to check my blog and they won't see this card but I just HAD to post it! This card was made using DP from the DCWV Baby Boy stack. I am so glad that I bought 2 12x12's of this one. It is one of my all time favorite's and it will be a sad sad day when I finally run out. I used my Janome Sew Mini to stitch all of the blocks together to make the background look like a baby quilt. Yes, it did take a while. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!, and the Giraffe is a clear set by "Recollections". I embossed the white ruffle with a Cuttlebug folder, and used my Fiskars Threading water border punch. I loved making this card, and will get it in the mail this week! Thank you for visiting my blog, and have a wonderful week!

  3. This card has so many wonderful and interesting details that I found myself sitting in front of the computer staring at it for like five straight minutes. LOL :) The quilted background and embossed "ruffle" are just PERFECTION.

    Btw, that paper is on sale at Joann's online this week for $11.99 for the 12x12 stack. http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?pageName=search&flag=true&PRODID=xprd499321

  5. Ronnie, I noticed a couple of blogs in your Busy Bee Blog Roll that I don't have linked up to my blog. Do I need to add a few blogs?

  6. Yes ma'm. We have 3 new members, and I have put a few on inactive status so you can take those off as well unless they regain activity. I posted all of the info on our thread at SCS. =0)

  8. This is too, too sweet! I just love that quilt you created with the stitching. I have two boys and am partial to "boy" cards too. :)
