Fun Friday With Your Next Stamp - Just Flew In

YNSAug28rs
       Hello and welcome to Fun Friday with Your Next Stamp! Today is the last day of August, and also the last day of the YNS Birthday Celebration. Our theme for the month was "Celebrations". To create my card I used a stamp set that totally makes me smile "Jumbo Flamingo Fred". I just love that guy! I also had some fun with some of my favorite YNS dies, Grass, Clouds, and one of the round balloon dies. Do you see it??  Well, I die cut 7 yellow glitter die cut circle balloon shapes and glued them together to create a sun!!  Fun!  Also, you can buy the set containing all of these dies (grass border, 3 balloon shapes, and two clouds) for 15% off!  Click here if you want to check it out.

We also have our own member company forum at Splitcoast Stampers with information on all new releases, and all of the happenings in the YNS World!
I hope you will visit the YNS Blog and see what the other design team members have to show ya! And thank YOU for visiting my blog today!!

{How Beautiful A Day Can Be}

FAug22-1-1

  Hello! I am here with a quick post to show you a card I created for the Flourishes 2-4-6-8 Birthday Celebration "It's a Banner of a Day" Challenge.  and this weeks Challenge at CAS-ual Fridays:  Banners and Flags

  I created my banners using my new Lifestyles Crafts die set "Tag Its". I used a floral image from the Flourishes set "Zinnia's" to add a subtle pattern to my banners. I stamped the entire floral image on the lower right, and stamped the sentiment on top of it. You have to look hard to see it but that is the look I was going for. Soft and understated.  I added machine stitching to finish off my card. I just love it and I hope you like it to!

The Play Date Cafe Challenge # 146 - Color Splash

This week the PDCC challenge is being sponsored by SRM Stickers.

They generously sent an amazing selection of goodies to each designer. Here is what I created for the challenge using SRM stickers! (My very first time to use them -- LOVE them!)

PDCC146-6

  The sentiment, and the dotted scalloped borders are SRM product.  I used one of my new embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts to create the beautiful background. You can't tell from the picture but I embossed a piece of glossy photo paper. It makes a beautiful impression! The rolled felt flowers were created using metal dies from Marianne Designs.  I finished off the card with a PTI border, and a row of pearls. I hope you like my card and I CANNOT wait to see what you create for The Play Date Cafe Color Splash Challenge!!

Hello! I was inspired by this weeks PTI Make It Monday #79  to create my card, the challenge was to use your die cuts with fabric. Luckily I already had some sticky fabric backing on hand so this challenge was a  piece of cake! I used fabric on my little train smoke stack. Well, actually I used stamped card stock, and fabric. =0) I used the adorable PTI set "Little Hot Rod". Oh my gosh this set is so cute! The train track is a stamping wheel from Stampin Up'. It is perfect for using with this set! My color inspiration comes from this weeks challenge at ColorQ:

{Having Some Fun}

Aug21-3

    This weekend I worked on a handful of cards for the"2-4-6-8- Help Flourishes Celebrate" card challenge. I created this card for the "Add Some Sprinkles" challenge. To create my card I used the Flourishes set "Zinnias".   This is one of the stamp sets I received in my Stamping Royalty prize package and my first time to use Flourishes stamps. They stamp beautifully! I am 100% positive I will be adding more of these sets to my collection. I colored my flower bouquet using Copic, , Sharpies and Bic Markits.

Aug21-5

 The beaded centers are beads from Provo Craft that I have had for 5 years. It will take a life time to ever use them all. lol   I used patterned paper from the Sweetest Thing collection by My Minds Eye. I hope you like my card! Thank you for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day!

{Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday!!}

YNSFFAug17-1

  Hello friends! Welcome to Fun Friday with Your Next Stamp (YNS)!   This month we are celebrating our 3rd Birthday so our Fun Friday theme is "Celebration". The card I created today features the "Small Post Card stamp and matching die", and my very favorite YNS die set "Balloon Trio".  I cut out a few extra shapes of each balloon size and glued them together to create my own chipboard.  I sanded the edges to give them a bit of distressing. The patterned paper is from the "Sweet Day" collection by Echo Park.  Be sure to visit the YNS Blog to see the fabulous creations of the designers playing along today!

{A Thankful Heart}

Aug14-1

  Whew, today I DO have a thankful heart. My little one got hurt but it could have been so much worse. I think I aged about 10 years! I'm sure all you Mom's know all about that. lol.

  Yesterday I received my new release order from WPlus9 and I absolutely love my stamps! I just couldn't wait to ink them up. For this card I used "Pretty Patches Apple", and "Country Charm". These stamps stamp beautifully as you can see from my picture. I added hand stitched x's to all of the corners of my patches, and added color coordinated buttons tied with twine as well. I cut out the apple, heart, and leaf by hand, and attached them using foam dots. I know I am going to be using these sets a ton this fall!  Thank you for visiting my blog today and have a wonderful evening!
