Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop!

ptihop

Hello and welcome! Today I am playing along with the Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop!

To create my card I used Circle Scribbles, Doddle-Doo, and Building Blocks.  I stamped the circles and leaves and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them out and used foam adhesive to attach them to my card base.  I used the matching Building Blocks dies to create the text on my card. I finished my card with a machine stitched border.

Papertrey Ink Garden Grace = Love

PTIFRI

I really liked this set when it was shown to us during the preview last week, but after stamping it I am in LOVE with this set! It is much easier to align and stamp then I thought it would be. And the ink colors you could use are endless. Nichole did a fabulous job designing this set!
I used the new Teal card stock from PTI, but the ink is all from Stampin Up, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay (perfect match to the new teal.) Gumball Green, and Pistachio Pudding. Don't they stamp beautifully? The stitched rectangle and scallop was created using a die from Mama Elephant.

I am happy you stopped by today!

Woodland Wreaths By WPlus9

Wplus91

Hello! Today I am playing along with the current Wplus9 Birthday Celebration Week #2 Challenge: Stepping It Up. To create my cards I used the beautiful set, Woodland Wreaths and one of my favorite background building sets,  Country Charm. I wanted to stamp the wreathes in non traditional colors. In my first card I used Stampin' Up! inks in Smoky Slate, and Basic Gray. These shades of gray are beautiful, and you can see from the picture how beautiful and rich the colors stamp. I LOVE my Stampin' Up! ink pads!! I added berries stamped in Rich Razzleberry. The blocks are stamped in RR as well.

For this card I used Stampin' Up Brown Sugar, Early Espresso, and Cherry Cobbler. I LOVE the way it turned out!

I am happy you stopped by today and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

V-day

Hello my friends and Happy Valentine's Day! I was lucky enough to receive chocolate and a dozen roses from my sweetheart. It's the first time in 10 years I've ever received an official flower delivery. We aren't overly sentimental, aside from hugs, and I Love You's on a regular basis. Needless to say I was thrilled!

Today I created a card especially for today using the new Stampin Up set "Love You To The Moon". This set is SO cute!

I stamped the image using white pigment ink onto Basic Black card stock. I added a collage of die cut banners using Bold Brights Designer Series paper from a few years back. I'll be so sad when I use it all! I added a bit of stitching to my banners to give them a little something extra.

I am happy you stopped by today and I hope you have a great weekend!

Papertrey Ink Stripes Challenge

wedPTI

It has been kind of quiet here on the blog this week for two reasons, 1st, my Dad was here visiting, and we had no Internet or TV for two days. Torture!  Sadly my Dad left to go back home, but happily the Internet and TV are up and running again.

Today I am playing along with the current Papertrey Ink 7 year Anniversary Stripes challenge.

To create my card I used the Papertrey Ink Chevron Die, and Ruby Rose. The large starburst is from the Stampin Up set "Starburst Sayings". All of the ink used to stamp my flowers and leaves is from Stampin Up.

Welcome Baby - Zoo Babies by Stampin' Up!

SUFriday

I received a very fun, and rather large package of Stampin' Up! goodies this week! Yay for new goodies! I couldn't wait to play with "Zoo Babies", and had the design for this card in my head for a couple of weeks before my box arrived. I used Pool Party, Smokey Slate,  and Daffodil Delight to stamp my animals.  I also used the Delicate Designs embossing strip to accent the bottom of my card. The hello banner, and polka dot strip are from the SU set "Perfect Pennants".  The sweet baby sentiment and banner are from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp and frame-lits bundle.

I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Wow, today I have a lot to show you! First up is a Valentine themed card I created using the Avery Elle stamp set "Lots of Love". I stamped the sentiments using white pigment ink by Colorbox. This is by FAR the best white pigment ink I have yet to find. Fabulous. I added strips of washi tape from the Target Dollar spot. My patterned paper is from the Sweetheart collection by Doodlebug Designs.
