Happy Birthday Cutie!

HappyBirthdayCutie

Hello friends! Today I have a couple of cards to share with you using the newly released Stampin' Up! "Sweet Stuff" stamp set. I just love this classic SU set, and I love having a stamp set that can be used for lots of different occasions, more bang for your buck!
I used the SU Heart/Stars stencil background to add the cute hearts, and the banner was created with the banner punch and  the SU " All A Bloom" DSP pad.

I created this card with the same stamp set, and patterned paper from the  "Moonlight" DSP paper pack. I just love that little bee!

That's it for today, I am happy you stopped by!

Splattered Paint Rainbow

ColorSPlash

So, I created this card, and had fun stamping my favorite color combo - ROYGBIV - Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. I used Stampin' Up!'s Gorgeous Grunge, and Starburst Sayings with the coordinating thinlet set. I added several stitched borders using my sewing machine. I love this card and I hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Butterflies

Butterfly2

I loved this butterfly "Swallowtail"  from the moment I saw it in the SU catalog, and couldn't wait to try out my new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities coloring it!
I also used the SU "Hardwood background"  stamp stamped in Smokey Slate Ink on Soft Slate card stock by Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is from the SU set "Four You".

This card features two different stamp sets, "Dotty Angles", and "Bravo". The dots were heat embossed using SU Silver embossing powder.

Best Fishes!

BestFishes1
Greetings from sunny St. Augustine Florida! We are on a family vacation and right now I am enjoying a little down time in my hotel room. I created and uploaded a few cards last week so that my blog wouldn't be totally boring while I was gone. So, today I thought a "sea life" themed card would be perfect!
I created this card using only Stampin' Up! supplies! I used 4 stamp sets to create this card: the fish, anchor, rope, and crab are from "Sea Street". The waves were stamped using the photopolymer set "Chalk Lines" in three colors, top to bottom: Lost Lagoon, Bermuda Bay, and Coastal Cabana. They look wonderful together! You can see just how different the new In-Color Lost Lagoon is from the other blue's. I created the fun sentiment using the alpha stamp set "Skinny Minny". I stamped my Crumb Cake card base using the Hardwood background stamp. I heat embossed the fish using Bright Orange Zing powder. I created my "looking glass" using the starburst Sizlit set and circles dies.

I had fun making this card! I hope you have a wonderful week, and thanks for stopping by!

A Magical Birthday!

SweetStampShopDragon

So, I could NOT wait to order from Sweet Stamp Shop this month, and this little guy is the reason why! Dragon is now back in stock, so you better hurry and grab yours!

To color my dragon I used the new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities, their version of the ultra trendy alcohol based markers. I have used all the top name markers, and these are right along with the big names with ease of use, blending ability ,and marker tips. I will be adding ALL of the color combinations to my collection.  If you want to give them a try let me know, I would LOVE to be your SU demo!

The patterned paper I used is from the new Simple Stories collection "Hello Baby:. I just love the pastel wood grain!

I am happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a great weekend!

Koalas = Cute!

SUKoala1

I knew this stamp, Kind Koala would come home with me the moment I saw it in the new Stampin' Up! catalog! My new catalog order came in on Thursday, and this stamp was the first to see ink!

I stamped the Koala in Gray Momento Ink, and colored him/her using Spectrum Noir markers.  The patterned paper is from the new SU paper pad "All Bloom". I created another card with the extra Koala I colored.

SUKoala4

This card features patterned paper from the new SU paper pad "Moonlight".
I added a few more decorative elements to this card. I used my Triangle punch to cut out notches in the side, and then wrapped Basic Gray bakers twine around the card for a little something extra.

I'm happy you stopped by today!

Hero Sized Birthday

HeroBirthday

So my Husband and I share a Birthday (7 years apart.) And this past weekend was the big day. (It was pretty quiet.) Believe or not I rarely make cards for him, I don't have that many masculine stamp sets. But this year I had "Calling All Heroes" from Stampin' Up! and since he loves comic book heroes I thought it would be perfect. I had fun making this card. I used a stamp from the May Paper Pumpkin set, and the Banner set and punch from Sale-A-Bration. The punch is a current item in the new SU catalog. I used Wild Wasabi ink and paper, and Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

"Calling All Heroes" is a limited edition stamp set, so if you are on the fence about ordering it I recommend not waiting to long! You can order it right here in my Stampin' Up! online web store!

Thanks for visiting today, and I hope you have a great day!
