Hey Little Pumpkin

HeyPumpkin

Halloween is tomorrow, and today is the perfect day to share a couple of projects I created featuring pumpkins! First up is a card. I used the Papertrey Ink Pumpkin Builder dies to create the shaped pumpkin. I started out by stamping the wood grain pattern using my Stampin' Up Hardwood background stamp. Next I cut out the pumpkin pattern. I assembled the pieces and glued them to the pumpkin base. I added a cute pumpkin stamped image, and the matching sentiment. The stem is from the PTI set The Sweet Life.

Next up is a super fun burlap treat bag I made using the same PTI Pumpkin Builders die. I die-cut a piece of plain burlap and used my Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie ink and a sponge to add the color. I die cut the jack-o-lantern face using black felt. I glued the pieces to the pumpkin and added a hand stitched orange border around the pumpkin. That took a while, but I love the way it turned out! I finished off the bag with a matching tag and bow.

I hope you like these spooky cute projects, and I'm happy you stopped by today!!

Be Merry - A Tag Set

PTITags2

Hello friends! I have been having so much fun with my Papertrey Ink Tinsel and Tags kit. I am building up my tag inventory for Holiday gift giving this year.

To create my tags I used the tag die from the kit. I cut them out in white, and kraft. I stamped the "Be Merry" using Versafine Tuxedo Black ink. I added the matching fawn that I also stamped, and I colored in the holly and berries using markers. I stamped the wreath with the wreath builder set included in the kit. I attached the white and kraft tags together using a metal brad. I finished off the tags by adding a red glitter die-cut bow. I absolutely LOVE the way these tags turned out! Last I checked the main Tinsel and Tags kit were still available in the PTI store. Don't miss out on this adorable kit!

October Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

PTIHopOne

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop! It has been a few months since I played along and I am happy to be here today!  So, I think my card may be one of the last cards linked up today, but this morning before we left to spend the day doing family stuff I just wasn't happy with the morning light. So, I re-took the pic when we got home. ANYWAYS, here it is! :)

I used this beautiful color combo:

To create my card I used the Tinsel and Tags Make It Market Kit, and the Stitched Snowflake Die. I re-shaped the seasons greetings sentiment and stamped it on the banner. I like this orientation better then the intended design. The patterned paper is also from the Tinsel and Tags kit.

I am thrilled you stopped by, especially so with my card being posted so late. I can't wait to visit your creations for today's hop! Thanks for stopping by!!

City Sidewalks

SSSReleasetwo

Hello friends! Today I am here to share a card I created using the Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set "Holiday Town".

This set is really fun to play with, and it goes along perfectly with the other "town building" stamp sets "Around Town",

 "Baby Town",

and "Coffee Town".

To create my card I stamped and colored the images and lines them up on a fun die-cut street. I stamped the solid color trees and added the strand of lights that I also colored. I finished off the card with a button tied with twine. I'm happy you stopped by today and I hope you have a great day!

Let The Holidays Begin!

Wplus91

There is so much amazing Christmas product being released right now, I just can't resist buying it, and playing with it. Christmas cards are my very favorite to create. To create this layered card I used stamps and dies from Wplus9. The Woodland Wreath set that was released last year is still one of my all time favorite wreath sets. It is so much fun to stamp, and my SU inks blend so nicely together. The stitched die-cut layer is actually a piece of actual linen with an adhesive back. This may be one of my favorite finds of the season! I love the home-spun look it adds. The black polka dot patterned paper is the new holiday 6x6 pad from Simple Stories. The gold striped vellum is by Stampin' Up. I must order more of that!

I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great week! Happy Holiday card making!

To create my card I used elements and stamps from the Stampin' Up September Paper Pumpkin kit. SO fun! The honeycomb patterned paper is from the Stampin' Up! "Moonlight" DSP paper pad. I finished my card with two lines of machine stitching.

I am happy you stopped by and I hope you will play along with us this week!

Owl I Want For Christmas - Playing With Chameleon Pens

OwlIWant3

Hello,  hello! Today I am excited to share a project I created using the BRAND new Chameleon Pens alcohol markers.

These markers are so much fun to play with!! After a very short time I was able to get the hang of shading, and blending with very little fuss. I don't know about you but I enjoyed not having to get up out of my chair to find 10 -12 markers that it would have taken to color this owl using Copic or Spectrum Noir. (Both of which I use and adore.)

To create my set of tags I used the Lawn Fawn set "Winter Owl" with matching die. I added a strip of wood grain washi tape and  festive ribbon from Joann's to finish my tag set.

I'll be posting more projects on my blog using these pens so be sure to come back and see what else I will create using Chameleon Pens!

Thanks for stopping by!

Who's Bleu? Fun With Sweet Stamp Shop Stamps!

Veronica Personal Blog

Hello friends! Today I am excited to share a super cute (if I do say so myself) card featuring "Cheese Please"  from Sweet Stamp Shop. Check out this adorable stamp set!

I love that little mouse!

To create my card I picked out some of my favorite "bleu" patterned paper. Added a bit of machine stitching, stamped and colored the mouse and cheese wedge three time. I cut them out with detail scissors, and used the photo frame die from Pretty Pink Posh to create a fun focal point.

Be sure to visit the Sweet Stamp Shop to pick up this cute set!

You Are Simply Beautiful

SimplyBeautiful

Hello friends! Today was a happy day, let me explain why. We recently moved to a new house, and I have been having the most difficult time trying to find the best light to take pictures of my cards. After trying several spots, trying out artificial lighting, and not having much success with either I finally found my spot. Hooray! I took a picture of this card today, and barely had to do any touch ups. I am so happy! To create this card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Garden Grace,  Just Smile, and Simply Jane. I used the Mama Elephant stitched frame die as well.

I am happy you stopped by!!

Boo To You!!

Halloween1

Hello, hello! I'm here with a quick post to share a spooky cute card I created using the Stampin' Up! stamp sets "Fall Fest" and the September Paper Pumpkin kit. To create my background I attached all three pumpkin face stamps to my block at the same time. You achieve a better symmetrical background that way. I added a few fun layers with ribbon, tags, and the adorable clothes pin from the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I am happy you stopped by today!
