Guest Designing for Butterfly Reflections Ink!

http://butterflyreflectionsink.3dcartstores.com/

Hello friends! I am here with my second card as the January Designer for Butterfly Reflections Ink! Valentine's Day or love themed cards are my second favorite kind of card to make. (Christmas is my #1!) Here is the love themed card I created using Hero Arts stamps and dies:

I used the Hero Arts stamp and die combo set "Love". The font of the "love" die is SO pretty! I created a watercolor brushstroke background using Peerless watercolor sheets. I accented my card with gold glimmer paint (any brand will do, but I used Heidi Swapp) and a die-cut border using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax. I love these SO much and have to resist using them on all my cards!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful Day!

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-create-with-critters/

Hello! Today I am playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. The theme this week is Critters! Now I don't now about you but Lawn Fawn is one of the first companies that comes to mind when I think about adorable critter stamps! I used my beloved Lawn Fawn set "Hedgehugs" and "Stuck on You" to create my card. I also used a handful of MFT Die-namics. Here is my card!

I had a lot of fun creating my desert scene. I found the sand patterned paper at Hobby Lobby, it was exactly what I was looking for. Well I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! They are calling for snow here, which is rare so the kids are excited. Stay warm!

Hello hello! Today I am SUPER excited to share a card that I created for the January Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge. The challenge was to use MFT (Hey, I've got LOTS of that!) along with Essentials By Ellen product. Here is my bright and happy card:

I fell in love with the Essentials By Ellen Be-You-tiful die as soon as I saw it! I also used one of my favorite masking dies from MFT, Concentric Circles. I had fun adding sequins, maybe went a bit overboard, but it was fun! I am SO happy you stopped by, and thank you for your sweet comments. I appreciate them SO much!

You Are My Forever

Forever

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a card I made with new crafty goodness that made it to my house this week! First, the beautiful rose. This is a brand new Stampin' Up! set from the Occasions Catalog called Picture Perfect. If you don't have a demo, and would like to order this set please leave a comment! I stamped the rose using three colors, Watermelon Wonder, Real Red, and Blushing Bride. These colors make the rose POP! The leaf was stamped in Cucumber Crush, Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green. The sentiment, die-cut "forever" and the adorable heart garland are from the brand new January Valentine release from Reverse Confetti. I love the beautiful font of those dies! I used a heart stencil and the MFT Roses All Over background stamp to create my focal point.
I LOVED making this card! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Gorgeous - Playing With MFT Sketched Blooms

MFT Sketched Blooms 1

Hello friends! I received the MFT set Sketched Blooms last week and inked it up for the first time yesterday! This set is very easy to stamp, and what I love most is that your stamping (and coloring) don't have to be perfect! A little off center, color out of the lines, no problem! I wanted to see the blooms in different colors so I made a second card:

Which card do you like better?

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous week!

Butterfly Reflections Ink January Guest Designer - Hello Honey

Good Morning! I was thrilled when Vanessa Middleton owner of Butterfly Reflections Ink asked me to be the January Guest Designer! Today I am showcasing Honey Bee Stamps.  Here is the card I created:

Butterfly Reflections Ink - Honey Bee Stamps

I used the adorable Honey Bee Stamps set Sweet As Honey. I colored the flowers and bees using Copic markers. I stamped the lid on paper from the My Minds Eye Your Story collection. And used the following MFT Die-namics  Stitched Circle Scallops, large rectangle scalloped frame and stitched rectangle from Blueprints 20. I heat embossed the honeycomb and string on the jar lid using gold embossing powder.
I am thrilled with the way my card turned out! Thank you for stopping by and be sure to visit Butterfly Reflections Ink to see her fabulous selection of stamps, dies, and everything else you need to create! Have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #236 - Feel Better Soon

With the newfound time on my hands I've had more time for the challenges I used to love to play along with. First up for 2016 is the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge 236. The challenge this week was to go back and take a look at all the MIM's from 2015 and pick one to use. I decided to use the most recent PTI MIM #235 - Adding Color to Stamped Images

Here is the card I created using PTI Cuppa Love:

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday

I LOVED creating this card, and I tried to keep a vintage theme going with my card by using a lace doily accent, and the grid background. The red is MFT's Poppy ink and card stock and the Gingham background. I am SO happy you stopped by today and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Time To Chill

Stampin' Up! Snow Place stamps and dies

After a busy Holiday season, and year, I hereby declare it is Time To Chill! Well, maybe just for today, but taking a breather from time to time is always a good idea.
To create this card I used the Stampin' Up! set Snow Place (which is still orderable for the rest of the year) and matching dies. Those two are just the cutest! I used MFT dies to create my background and focal point. I hope you have a fabulous week of getting back into the swing of things.
