{You're Tea-Riffic Tuesday Trigger}

Good Sunday Afternoon! Today I am here with a card for this weeks Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. Look at this beautiful inspiration picture!



 I have a weakness for red flowers, so playing along this week was a no brainer! To create my card I channeled my inner "Laurie Willison" and decided to try my hand at  creating a super clean, and simple card. Laurie is one of my idols, and a sweet friend. To create my card I used a stamp set (for the first time) by I {Heart} Papers "Petal Press" line called Summer Garden. This set is SO cute and so perfect for this challenge! The sentiment is from the My Time Made Easy set "On Display". I tried to capture the colors of the Tuesday Trigger picture, and I envisioned an afternoon tea with friends. So I decided to go with a tea cup filled with flowers! I colored my flowers with Copic Markers. I paper pieced  the tea cup using text patterned paper from the "Sweet Day" collection by Echo Park. Today I am also playing along with the CAS-ual Friday challenge! (Sorry for flooding your gallery ladies, hehe.)

    Lovely colors for the flowers and very sneaky how you used the text background for the teacup. I agree that this is a really cute stamp set and you used it wonderfully to answer both challenges. Great card.

    Flowers and tea are the perfect combination...its as if you are enjoying a lovely evening in the garden with a cup of tea and looking at the lovely flowers whilst letting your senses wrap itself in the fragrance!
