Papertrey Ink Make It Monday - Always Be Blessed

  Hello! I was inspired by this weeks Papertrey Ink Make It Monday and created a card using the "double backgrounds" technique. I chose the Sheet Music bg, and Text bg set to create my background. I used The Sweet Life, and Stitched Sentiments to create my flowers and sentiment. I hope you like my card! I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great day!

  I finally had a chance to make a card "just for fun" and I was happy to use my new Papertrey Ink stamp set "Back To School". This set and matching dies is SO cute, and since I have a sister-in-law starting her first year as a pre-k teacher I thought it would be fun to make a card especially for her.  The yellow ruler is washi tape that I found at my local Wal-Mart for .97. It is SO cute! I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great day!

Here is the card I created using this weeks color story!

To create my card I used the MFT stamp set "Dandelion Wishes" and the MFT Die-namics set "Dandelion Stems and Toppers".  I used my Fresh Inks, and A Muse Studio inks to stamp the flower top, and Stampin Up ink to stamp the stem. I enjoyed playing with the stamps, and will be adding more MFT stamps and dies to my collection very soon!

Festive Friday Challenge FFC12 - Snow!

    What better way to beat the heat of summer then by thinking about S-N-O-W! I was thrilled when Meredith asked me to be the Guest Designer for this weeks Festive Friday Challenge!

      To create my card I used the Stampin Up classic "Lovely As A Tree". I stamped the trees using  SU Soft Suede, and then used a bottle of liquid snow (from Hobby Lobby) to accent my branches.  I created a quilted background using paper from Authentique. My sentiment and sentiment die are from Papertrey Ink. I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you will play along with us this week at the Festive Friday Challenge!
