Thankful For Fall Featuring Papertrey Ink

    I am excited to be joining my dear friend Amanda Bodine for a little bit of Fall inspiration featuring Papertrey Ink Fall Stamps and dies. To create my card set I used the beautiful Leaves Text and Texture background stamp. I used a variety of Autumn colored ink from Stampin’ Up! And My Favorite Things. Stamptember With Simon Says Stamp!!

   I am THRILLED to be joining many of my favorite crafters as we begin the month long celebration for Simon Says Stamp "Stamptember" with a party!

           To create my card I used the adorable Big Picture Book Kitty wafer die, the SSS Blooming Circle die, and the stamp set Circle Friends.

"New" Craft Stash Blog Hop

 

Hello! I am joining a talented group of designers  this week for the "New" Craft Stash 3 day Blog Hop! I don't know about you, but I have more stamps and dies then I will ever be able to use, many have never even been inked. This hop is to help inspire YOU to create something using product that you have never used. Here is the card I created for the hop!

To create my card I used the Stampin’ Up! set “Lift Me Up”. The Rainbow was painted free hand using Stampin’ Up! ink smooshed on an acrylic block. It is a simple card, but I love the way it turned out! Now what would a blog hop be without prizes?

Stamping For Famlies Blog Hop

I am happy to be here today joined by several of my dear friends as we show our support for Immagrant Family Re-unification. This isn’t a political post, just basic human compassion. I cannot imagine the courage it must take to leave your country behind in search of a better life, and safe place for your children. These families are being ripped apart and it breaks my heart. So, myself and several of my favorite people are hopping today. No, we aren’t going to change the world, but it only takes one person to make a difference. Families belong together. 

Today I created a set of cards using one of my all time favorite, and long retired Stampin’ Up! stamp sets “Sweetie Pie”. I had so much fun coloring those little cuties. They represent all of the people across the world. 💗

The inside of each card is stamped with this sentiment: 

Kindness changes everything.

Stamping For Autism

Hello! I am thrilled to be here today as a guest blogger for Tami White because Autism Awareness is something very near and dear to my heart. My son Cameron has autism.

    Cam is a happy kid. We don't focus on the more challenging aspects of his life, instead we celebrate the things he does well. Cam loves all things Disney, Dr Seuss, and he is always listening to music, believe it or not one of his current faves is a song by Pink Floyd! 

By now, we all know someone with autism, or perhaps even a family member. If I could leave you with one word that we need so much more of, it would be compassion. We've all seen the parent struggling in a store, at school, walking across a parking lot. If you can, take a moment to silently, or verbally offer a word or look of encouragement. If you are able to lend a hand to a care taker in need that is even better. One small gesture of kindness could make all the difference in the world. 

I am excited to share the card I created for today's blog hop!

   To create my card I used the Stampin' Up! stamp and die set Sunshine and Rainbows. I am so sad this set is retiring, so if you don't have it, and you want it you better hurry and grab it! I created the "fluffy cloud" background using a sponge dauber, and Tempting Turquoise ink. I die cut my cloud stencil using the cloud landscape dies from Rainbow Builder framlits. I lightly tapped just above the outline of the clouds to give it a soft look. It was very easy!
