Flower Garden

This was my submission for todays "Limited Supplies" Challenge. The challenge was to only use one floral stamp and one sentiment stamp with no designer papers, or other embellishments. I broke down and used ribbon but I noticed several cards in the gallery with ribbon so I added some to. I used the retired SU set "Flower Garden", and used my aqua painter and inks to paint the flower. I then used mellow moss ink to stamp the same flower on the mellow moss card stock. I wasn't too sure how my card was going to turn out but I am very pleased with the end result.

This is my card for today "Ways to Use it" challenge. Garden Silhouettes is one of my favorite stamp sets. I have a lot of favorites don't I? I used my Stampin' Write markers in Choco Chip, and Bravo Burgundy on the Stamp. And the card stock I used was also Choco Chip, Bravo Burg, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla. It may be a little hard to see but the word "Cherish" was embossed using copper embossing powder. It looks much better in person. I used two of my background stamps for the layers, French Script, and Linen.

Sketch Challenge 165

Wow, I can't believe all the card making time I'm getting in this week! Thanks Cameron! This is my sketch challenge for today. It looks similar to the card I made yesterday but there are a few differences. I used my SU Set "True Friend" again. I love that set! I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the Berry Bliss DP and then I sanded the embossed paper with my sanding block. I love the "distressed" look. One of the things I really love about Stampin Up! is the coordinating inks, papers, ribbon, and pretty much anything else you would need to make a card. Thanks for checking out my card!

SplitCoast Stampers CC155

It has been many months since I have taken part in a challange at SCS! It felt great to finally be able to do one of the challanges. Working on cards, and taking care of a 2 month old is no easy task! For this card the colors we had to use were:
Basic Black, Whisper White and River Rock.
The stamp sets I used for my card were True Friend, Polka Dots and Paisely and Noteworthy. I used my Cuttlbug, and Stampin Pastels on the layers.

This is a card I made using the SU set "Priceless". All of the colors I used are from the Soft Subtles color family. The colors are Pale Plum, Mellow Moss, and Pretty in Pink. The heart brads are from the Joann's line of embellies. I used stickles to highlight the dotted line images on the butterflies, and the image behind the heart. I'm pleased with how my card turned out.

I made this card over the weekend to build up my card stash. I used one of my new SU! stamp sets "If the Halo Fits". This set has so many possibilities! I used Pale Plum, Soft Sky, and Whisper White SU! card stock. I used my aqua painter to outline the image. The Floral brads are from Making Memories and I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the Pale Plum card stock. I love how this card turned out!

This is a Valentine's Day Card I made using the Stampin' Up set "Happy Heart Day". This is one of my favorite sets in the new catalog! I used Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Pretty in Pink SU Card Stock. I used my Aqua Painter to color the image with the coordinating ink colors. I embellished the card with Hodge Podge Hardware and SU Grosgrain ribbon. I used the word window punch to punch out the sentiment on the bottom of the card. You can't tell from the picture but I used glossy glaze on the heart that the elephant is holding and on the flowers.
