Ribbon Ribbon Ribbon!

For my card today card I used the Stampin' Up! set "City of David". This is one of my all time favorite Christmas sets. I love that it doesn't require any coloring aside from the ink color that you stamp it in! The card is pretty self explanatory, SU Navy, and craft cardstock, and the image was stamped on Whisper White. I used my SU edge distresser to add a worn look. I am very happy with the way it turned out!
This week I went to visit one of the BEST places I have ever found to stock up on ribbon, the "Offray Ribbon Outlet" in Hagerstown Maryland. If you live anywhere close to DC, and you love ribbon, then a visit to the Offray Outlet is a must! I bought all of this ribbon for under $7.00! Yeah, can you even believe that? The large brown and vanilla satin ribbon rolls are my favorite. They probably have about 50 or so yards on each one, and they were 1.25 each! It isn't like I actually "needed" more ribbon, but you know how that is. =0)

Don't forget to enter for a chance to win a super blog candy prize celebrating my 200th post! I added several yards of some of the ribbon I found at Offray! You can read the original thread here: Blog Candy Have a wonderful week and thank you for visiting my blog

I love how this card turned out Ronnie! Those brads with the twine are very cool. I'm putting this in my file for "things to try". I also like the roughed edges and the corner stitching. Just fab!

Me again..I just wanted to say that you are queen of deal finds with that great ribbon score you made at the outlet store. I'm amazed at how you find all those super sale items. Wish I was that lucky.

Your card is very pretty, I love the way you did the eyelets and twine.

I have heard of that place to get ribbon. It's probably a good thing I don't live anywhere near there!

Love the criss crosses at the corners of your image....and the stitching at the top too. I wish I lived out that way....those ribbons are fantastic (and really, who doesn't need 50 yards of brown satin ribbon?) :)
