{No Place Like Gnome}

Good Afternoon! Gnomes seem to be quite popular lately and I can see why because they are so darn cute. Today at Cupcake Inspirations we are being sponsored by Whimsie Doodles and they were nice enough to let the design team play along with some of their newly released images. I colored my gnome home with Promarkers and Copics. I paper pieced the roof using SU dsp from the "Brights" paper pad. I cut out the window, colored it with Copics, and added a nice thick layer of glassy glaze. Now for this card and for the first time ever I used flocking in two shades of green on the shrubbery outside of the gnome home. I LOVE how it turned out, and now I need more shades of flocking! The green patterned paper is from a DCWV paper stack, and the red is more DSP from SU. I used my SU ribbon scallop punch and my Fiskars threading water punch. I finished off this card by adding a brad to the door for the door knob, and adding maraschino red bakers twine from The Twinery tied with a red shiny button. Today I am playing along with a few challenges:

Wee Memories Challenge #51 - Tangled Up

Card Patterns Sketch #110
