Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop - Holiday Style

  Hello, the next 24 hours are going to be pretty busy here on the ol' blog,  and I am excited to be sharing lots of fun stuff with ya! First I have two cards that I created for the Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop. The challenge this month was to create cards using the beautiful color combos given to us as inspiration. Here is the first combo that jumped out at me:

To create my card I used the PTI sets "Snowflake Medley", and the beautiful sentiment set "Happiest of Holidays".

I cut the frame out using a cutting file from Lettering Delights, and my KNK Zing.

For my second card I used this color combo:

I decided to go CAS with my second card. I used the PTI sets "Happy Harlequin", and "Peaceful Pinecone.

The Craft's Meow October New Release Preview Day #3

  Hello and welcome to Day #3 of the TCM October Release Preview! I hope you have enjoyed the peeks you have seen so far. Today, I am here to show you peeks of my favorite stamp sets from this release! First let me show you a card I created using one of the most versatile, trendy, and just flat out fun to use Christmas stamps sets I have ever used....seriously!

      Holiday Foundations

    I decided to go with a clean and simple approach with this card. I stamped the snowflake strip (it is 6" long) and three different shades of ink and then cut them out with my Circles Nestabilities dies. I stamped the sentiment using Slate pigment ink from A Muse Studios. I added a couple of foam glitter snowflakes to add a bit of sparkle!

   My second card features the stamp set "O Christmas Tree"

  I had SO much fun making this card, and decided to use a mono-chromatic theme. I adore the different solid print patterns of the trees! I used pigment ink, and dye ink to stamp my trees.

The Craft's Meow October Release Preview Day #2

Hi, and welcome to day #2 of our fantastic TCM  October New Release preview! Today I am happy to show you two more stamp sets from the release:

                 Winter Fibi and Lilly

This set is just darling with adorable images and sentiments. I decided to go with a non-traditional color scheme, I hope you like it!

  Next, is the super fun, and one of my favorite from this release!

Christmas Cheer

  I paper pieced the snowman, and added a free hand cut snow drift. This is so easy to do, no dies needed! I added a stitched outline to give it a little extra something.

    Hello again! I have been on an orange kick, and although I'm just barely getting in at the last minute, I wanted to play along with the ColorQ Challenge!

  I used the PTI Set "The Sweet Life" to stamp the flowers and leaves. I just love the way Only Orange, and Tangerine Tango make the roses POP! The sentiment is from the Unity Stamp Co set "Empowered Words". I used my ol'faithful Canvas background stamp from Stampin Up to create my subtle background. This week I am also playing along with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge:

The Craft's Meow October Release Preview Day #1

   Today I am very excited to be joining TCM for my very first New Release as a design team member! Today we are introducing two stamp sets, Hearth and Home, and Christmas Angel.

Hearth and Home is a beautfiul set with fun to color images, and elegant sentiments.

    The next set, Christmas Angel, was designed by the amazingly talented Nina B. My picture does not show how sparkly my angel is, but I used gold tinsel to emboss the angel.

The Play Date Cafe - One More Try!

 The PDCC colors this week were a BIG challenge for me, so today I was determined to create a card that I loved. I am happy to say that I  succeeded!

   I used two different sets from PTI, Hello Sunshine (sentiment), and Natural Beauties. I used my woodgrain embossing folder from The Paper Studio, and Crumb Cake card stock as my card base. The buttons are from BasicGrey. If you have not created a card for The Play Date Cafe challenge this week, fear not! There is plenty of time to play along, and to help us celebrate our 3 year Anniversary! Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - Creativity Takes Courage

 It has been awhile since I played along with the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger, and the picture Cath picked out was calling my name so I had to play along! Here is the trigger:

I drew inspiration for my card from the color, and shapes of the trigger. And you can't get much more Victorian then a beautiful old quilt.

   I finally got to play with my new quilt dies from Wplus9. They are SO much fun to use, and a lot easier then I was expecting. (hooray!) The patterned paper came from an old DCWV pad that I have been holding onto for a few years. The sentiment, which I love, came from a brand new stamp set from Unity Stamp Co called "Empowered Words". Here is a spooky card I created using this beautiful color story!

I used Mat Stack 5 collection from Papertrey Ink to stamp the label, and the Halloween sentiment is from the WMS stamp set Midnight Feast. The pretty purple damask card stock is from A Muse Studio.
