Simple Notecard Set

I created these on WCMD, and after a whirlwind week, I finally have a chance to share them with you! I have had these Butterflies for quite sometime and didn't know what to do with them. So, I decided to create a simple note card set.

  I started with one of my favorite colors, blue! The woodgrain , and burlap patterned paper is from The Paper Studio by Hobby Lobby. It looks so real! I used the "Vintage Notepad" background stamp from Market Street Stamps to create my background. The sentiments are from the PTI set "Signature Greetings Two".  Here is a close up of the other two note cards:

I love the way the orange butterflies pop against the green woodgrain background.

I used one of my favorite stamp sets from Unity Stamp Company "Jar Of Sunshine". I recently had a card published using Unity Stamps, and received this set for FREE and a $25 Pay Pal payment. Sweet! I can't wait to see what you create using this weeks PDCC color story!

Your Next Stamp October Release Sneak Peek! - Autumn Greetings

I accented my white card base with Washi Tape.

Paper Crafts Magazine WCMD Blog Hop - Merry And Bright

   Hello! You should have arrived here from my sweet friend Laurie Willisons blog . I am THRILLED to be joining my fellow World Card Making Day 2011 Winners to celebrate the arrival of WCMD 2012!  I have to tell you that the past year has been a dream come true for me in the paper crafting world. Whew, busy busy day today! Welcome to Fun Friday with Your Next Stamp! For the month of October our theme is "Let It Snow". To create my card I used the YNS sets "Seasonal Fairies", and "Fancy Frame Stamp and Sentiment set". I tried out a new to me technique to create my wintry background."Faux Letterpress". I inked up an embossing folder with Ocean pigment ink from A Muse Studio and ran it with a piece of card stock. Thinking Of You - Colors Revisited

 I loved the colors from this weeks PDCC challenge so much I decided to create another card using them! If you haven't seen them, here they are:

  Aren't they beautiful?! To create my card I used two stamp sets from The Craft's Meow, "Thanks Bee To Thee", and "Inspired By Audrey". I hope you like my CAS card. You have 9 more hours to play along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!

 

Fall Is Finally Here!

 To celebrate the arrival of Fall I created a fall inspired card using the sweet set from Stampendous "Sunny Flowers". I colored these flowers using my Stampin Up chalks, and a blender pen. This is one of my favorite ways to color! I used my Spellbinders "So Trendy" embossing folder to create the flower centers.  I love my sunny little card, and I hope you do to!
