MFT Summer School Day 5 - Birthday Fun!

Welcome to Day 5, the last day of MFT Summer School for this year. I hope you have had as much fun as we have! Today's lesson is on Color Temperature:

Color Temperatures – Color hues to create a mood. Neutral (black, white, brown, gray), Cool (blues, purples, greens), and Warm (reds, yellows, oranges).

I tend to lean towards warm color schemes, what about you?  Here are the cards I created using today's lesson:

I LOVE those butterfly dies, so much fun, and there are so many ways you can use them. I split up the sentiment from Birthday Wishes and Balloons using sticky notes to mask which ever sentiment I didn't want to stamp. I love the way they look separated from each other! Here is the second card I created:

I thought the sentiment from Birds of Paradise would go perfectly with the large bouquet of balloons!

Thank you for visiting my blog this week. Your comments have made this week so much fun! be sure to visit the main MFT Blog to see today's full lesson. Don't forget to upload your homework to
be eligible for fabulous MFT goodies! Have a great weekend!

MFT Summer School Day 4 - Birthday Wishes

Hello hello! Welcome to MFT Summer School Day 4! Today's lesson is one of my favorites!

Color Saturation – The intensity of color. The more white or gray that’s added, the less saturated the color becomes. Cards tend to work best when the saturation of the colors are on a similar scale

Here is the card I created using today's lesson!

Pink and gray are one of my all time favorite color combinations. I feel like I have a pretty good balance of color on this card, and I love the hombre pink fringe background. That die is a must! Be sure to visit the MFT Blog to read the full lesson and you will also find the linkup to download your cards using today's lesson. Thanks for stopping by!
