As it is with most of my cards I had no idea what the end result would be on this card, but as I went along it seemed to come together and this is what I ended up with! The stack of beads is one of my Big Lots finds. They are from Provo Craft and I love them! Yay for Big Lots! My poor blog has been neglected this week but I just haven't had a lot of time for card making. It isn't very easy to see from the pic but I used beads in the center of the flower. I've only used beads once before on a card, but now I think I will incorporate them more often. They add such a nice touch to a card. I hope everyone is having a great week! Two more days till the weekend, yippie!

Supply List - Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White CS. Purely Pom, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Black Stazon Inks. Provo Craft Beads, Su Mat Pack, and Stampin Dimensionals.

I'm Gonna Rock Your World!

This is another card I made using my new "Cutietoots" stamps! I love this image and sentiment. It makes me laugh because it is soooo true. Babies do change everything, not neccasarily in a bad way, but you have to learn to do things in a different way. The papers I used are SU Wild Wasabi, and More Mustard, and the patterned paper is from the DCWV Baby Girl collection. It is tough to tell from the picture but I used a gold glitter pen to outline the word "rock", and to outline the 3-d guitar. I used my aqua-painter and inks to color in the guitar playin' baby. I love how this turned out!

Cutietoots Rubber Stamps!!

I recently discovered a SUPER cute Rubber Stamp company "Cutietoots" and I will be designing cards and other projects for them. Yesterday I received my stamp order and I am in LOVE! The quality of rubber is fantastic and the stamped image is sharp and clear. If you have any little ones in your life you should definitely check out their website!! I made this card using my DCWV papers, bazzil, and SU card stock. I colored in the stamped image with my prisma colored pencils. If you want to see more cards and projects using these stamps keep checking back because I will be adding new creations daily. Have a Happy Easter Weekend!

Easter Tulips!

Today's Color Challenge was to use Orchid Opulence, Sage Shadow, and Kraft. I hate Sage Shadow so I have never bought the ink pad. So, I used Mellow Moss instead! The set I used is an "ancient" one from 2000 called "Tulips". It was given to me and this is the first time I have ever used it! This card took me all morning to finish because Cam was being a grumpy bear today. Thank goodness he is napping right now!!

This was today's "Try a New technique" Challenge at SCS. The challenge was inking the negative side of the cuttlebug folder to give your image a nice deeply etched look. I used my SU set "Time Well Spent", and the colors I used on the card were Very Vanilla, Choco Chip, and Cameo Coral. I love that color combo!

I also want to remind everyone that I am offering FREE shipping with any Stampin Up order until March 31st! Orders can be shipped anywhere in the USA so please let me know if I can help you.

My little one has kept me busy the past few days so I have not had a lot of time for stamping but today I was able to grab enough free time to make this Easter Card. I am so loving my new Cuttlebug Folders!

Tuesday's Color Challenge

Hello! This is the card I made for today's color challenge. The 3 Colors in the challenge were "Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, and Basic Gray. I had never used these colors together but I think they look quite lovely together. The stamps I used for my card were SU's "Butterfly of Happiness", and the Paisley, and Linen BG stamps. I stamped the butterfly on the white cs, and on a separate piece of CS. I then cut out the image and placed it on top of the same stamped image using foam dots for the 3-d effect. I'm happy with the way it turned out, and even happier that my baby boy let me play today! Thank you for checking out my blog!

As you can see I am just LOVING the new paper I bought "Baby Girl" from DCWV! This was the Splitcoast Challenge LSC 158 to use paper scraps to make a small card. My card is 4x4. I love this size for gift bags, and other goodies I often give to friends. The stamp I used is from the SU set "Riveting". Thank you so much for coming to check out my blog!

One More Try

This is my second try at yesterdays Sketch Challenge. I used the SU "Bundle of Joy" stamp set, and papers from the DCWV Baby Girl stack. I used my corner rounder to make the scallops, and the brads are from Joanns. I love that bunny!

SC166

I love doing Sketch Challenges because the sketch is already layed out and all I have to do is add my own spin to the layout. For this sketch I used the "A Little Birdie Told Me" SU stamp set. It is a fun set to use. The papers I used are from the new DCWV paper collection "Nana's Nursery Baby Girl". All of the papes are ADORABLE! DCWV also had a "Baby Boy" collection and you would think that since I have a baby boy of my own I would have bought but I didn't. It had a TON of purple in it. Purple for a boy? Strange. Anywho, thanks for coming to my blog!

This is a fun card I made using the Strawberry Shortcake and Friends stamp set I bought from "Stamp Affair" last year. The papers are from the new DCWV line "Baby Girl". All of those papers are adorable!

This is a card I made just for the "fun" of it this weekend using SU's "Priceless" Stamp set. As you can see from the picture I used only 3 colors, Whisper White, Purely Pomegranate, and Wild Wasabi. I used the coordinating stitched ribbon, and silver brads. I used a Cuttlebug Folder for the background. Man, I love those things, and I am on the hunt for the new ones! Thank you for checking out my card and have a GREAT weekend!
