I rarely share pictures of my publications on my blog, but I am especially proud to have 4 cards featured in the August Cards: Stamping issue! I wanted to share my favorite card from the issue. I just love the blue mason jars they used in the picture! I used the Unity "Jar of Sunshine" stamp set to create this card. I'm happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hello! I am excited to be playing along with this months Papertrey Ink Blog Hop! Here is the inspiration:
I created my wreath using the Papertrey Ink stamp set "Stitched Sentiments". I wanted to create a fall inspired card, and used three kinds of ink to stamp my card: Stampin Up, A Muse Studio, and Fresh Ink. I embossed my card base after stamping using the PTI Aida Cloth impression plate. I finished my card with twine and a button. I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello! I am hoping that today is the last 90 something degree day of the year! Tomorrow the forecast calls for temps in the mid 70's, and I can't wait! To celebrate what I hope is the last day of summer I created a card using the new, and adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn "Into The Woods". Those little acorns make me smile! I am also playing along with the current Lawnscaping Challenge:
I chose shades of gold to create my monochromatic card.
Well that's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Hello! Today I have a card that I created with two challenges in mind, Pinspired Challenge #17, my color inspiration.
I am also playing along with the Paper Smooches October Guest Designer search!
To create my card I used the adorable Paper Smooches stamp set "Royal Cuteness". The sentiment and heart chipboard die-cut are from Avery Elle. The beautiful patterned paper is by American Crafts.
I'm happy you stopped by!

Hello hello! I hope you had a nice weekend, as usual ours went by much too quickly! Today I am playing along with today's Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge - Layered Border Die Cuts.
To create my layered border I used the PTI border die "Loop De Loop". I think it looks like spooky chain link fencing! I used the PTI stamp set "Polka Dot Parade #7. My patterned paper is by American Crafts, picked up at my local Target! And I also used my new Cuttlebug folder "Pinking Stitch" embossing folder. I looooove this! You can trim away the outside pinking border and leave only the stitching. I picked this up at Michael's yesterday for 40% off, I think it was around $4. Score!! I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great day!

I received the adorable set "Royal Cuteness" from Paper Smooches yesterday, it is just SO cute! I thought it would be fun to play along with the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. Here is the inspiration picture:
Instead of gold, I added silver, but I did use floral patterned paper to paper piece the dress of my princess. I am also playing along (again) with the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Honoring Hombre! Check it out:
I created my "sunset" backdrop using shades of pink.
I am happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Friday! Today I am playing along with the current Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger challenge Honoring Hombre. Here is the beautiful inspiration picture:
To create my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets "Watercolor Wonder", and "Reasons To Smile". I stamped my watercolor splashes using Stampin Up Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, and Regal Rose. I also used Pink Lemonade by Fresh Ink. I added a fun square rhinestone patch of bling next to my sentiment .(I love it so much I had to use it again.) I'm happy you stopped by today!

Whew, what a busy 3 day weekend in the Zalis house! It was nice to get back into our daily routine, and I had some time to work on a card and after seeing this weeks Pinspired Challenge inspiration photo I wanted to play along! Check it out:
To create my card I used a much loved stamp set, Rosie Posie. I know, I know, this set is ALL over the web, but darnit, I love it! And I love it even more with the addition of the "Step 2" set a few months ago. It is so easy to stamp something beautiful with these sets. The "smile" sentiment is from the new PTI Stamp-a-Faire set "Reasons To Smile", and the $5 PTI set "Lighten Up Sentiments". My embossed chicken wire background was creating using a new folder I picked up this weekend by Cuttlebug. This is going to get a lot of use in my craft room! I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a fantastic week!
