Fall Is Finally Here!
To celebrate the arrival of Fall I created a fall inspired card using the sweet set from Stampendous "Sunny Flowers". I colored these flowers using my Stampin Up chalks, and a blender pen. This is one of my favorite ways to color! I used my Spellbinders "So Trendy" embossing folder to create the flower centers. I love my sunny little card, and I hope you do to! I hope you have a restful Sunday! And as always, thank you for visiting my blog today!

The Play Date Cafe # 151 - Sending Hugs
Wine...Pumpkin...Moss
Hello and Happy Fall! This week at The Play Date Cafe we have a BEAUTIFUL color story for you! The colors this week are perfect for fall, and I hope you will find them as inspiring as I did! This week we have an awesome sponsor, E.A.D. Designs.
They graciously supplied the DT with super cute product to play with! And the Cup of the week will win a fantastic prize from E.A.D Designs as well! And an extra bonus - Stickerz and Rub-ons ship for FREE!
Now let me show you what I created using this weeks color story!
To create my card I used the Stickerz set Fall Trees. The polka dot paper is from the Stampin Up "Brights Stack". I used my trusty "old" Stampin Up Canvas background stamp, and my Woodgrain embossing folder by The Paper Studio. I used the "faux letterpress" technique to give my woodgrain layer an extra touch of texture. I love the way it turned out! Thank you for visiting my blog today and I can't wait to see what you create using this weeks color story at The Play Date Cafe!

Happy Wishes And A Winner!
Hello friends and Happy First Day of Fall! It is going to be 92F today so it isn't feeling much like fall but hopefully the cooler weather will arrive eventually. Today I have a card to share that I created with a few challenges in mind first, CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #71 - Fall Fun
and Lawnscaping Challenge #42 - Getting Texty.
To create my card I used two Lawn Fawn sets, Flutter By, and Lunar Lights. I colored my butterflies using Promarker fall colors. I used Ivory Naturals card stock by Stampin up, and the text background is "Dearest Jane" card stock by Papertrey Ink.
Lastly I am entering my card in the Moxie Fab World Card Design Handbook Movement Challenge. My fluttering butterflies and the text print behind them creates "movement" for your eyes to follow. I hope you like my card!

Fun Friday With Your Next Stamp - Autumn Greetings
Hello and welcome to Fun Friday with Your Next Stamp! This month of Fun Friday theme is Fall/Halloween, and organzing your craft supplies. Before I get to the "getting organized" part of my post let me tell you about my card! I used the adorable YNS set "Fall Fun Sunflower", and a sentiment from "Autumn Greetings" . Now, let me show you how I store my pigment ink pads!
Ta-da!! LOL...Seriously, it looks rather empty but I'm slowly filling the empty spots with my favorite inks , Fresh Ink by Impress Rubber Stamps, and inks from A Muse Studio. I still use my Stampin Up ink pads all the time though to fill in my color holes. I found this old wooden cassette tape rack at a yard sale for $2.00 this summer. Spray painted it black (looks like I need another coat of paint, lol) and mounted it on the wall using dry wall screws. I don't have anything from Ikea but I still love my yard sale finds, and they work just fine for me. *smile*
Thank you for visiting my blog today and make you visit the YNS blog to see the rest of the designers playing along today!

Hello and welcome to The Play Date Cafe Challenge #150!! This week we have a wonderful sponsor:
Not only will the Cup Of The Week win a fantastic prize from The Alley Way Stamps they also supplied the PDCC design team with stamps to play with! Here is the card I created using this weeks color combo.
The card I created for the challenge this week used the TAWS stamp set "Hey Cupcake". This was my first time using their stamps and I have to tell you they are top notch quality clear stamps with deep etching. I know I will be adding more sets to my ever growing stamp collection. I paper pieced my cupcake using paper from the Echo Park Dots and Stripes collection and the Brights Stack by Stampin Up. I added some tiny beads for sprinkles, and a few strips of Washi Tape. I hope you like my card and I hope you will play along with us at the PDCC this week! I can't wait to see your creations!

It's A Doozy!!
I was super thrilled to receive a package of Stamps, ribbon, and paper from Flourishes yesterday, and I wanted to play along with four challenges on the Flourishes Blog. So, today I have four cards to show you using the stamps I received yesterday!
The first challenge is the "Any Which Way Challenge" using any one of these sketches:
I used the Flourishes set "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe". I LOVE the beautiful images and will be using these on some of my own Christmas cards this year!
The second challenge I am playing along with is the "Dear Santa Challenge". The challenge was to create a card for a kid.
Here is my card!
I used the Flourishes background stamp "Holly", and red Stickles for the glitter berries. The sentiment is from the Flourishes set "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe".
The third challenge is the "Timeless Tuesday Challenge". Create a card using inspiration from Pinterest.
Here is the picture that inspired me:
And here is my card!
I took the CAS approach to this card. I stamped the mistletoe sprigs from "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe" as a subtle background, and used a sentiment from the same set.
Whew, thank you for sticking around for the final card! This is a non Christmas card for the Fourth challenge: "Wild and Wonderful".
Here is my card:
I created a Father's Day themed card for this challenge. I used the Flourishes set "A Guiding Light". Wow, this set is beautiful, in a manly man kinda way. I used patterned paper from a Boy Scout paper pad from K and Company. I distressed the edges with my sanding block, and added stitching and buttons. It was SO difficult not adding a bow!
Well thank you for visiting my blog, and for looking at all of my cards! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
