My Favorite Things SC217 - Dear Friend

 

 

 

 

This week between being snowed in, and having under the weather munchkins (lots of napping) I was able to get some "extra" craft time in so I decided to play with MFT Sketch #217 again! To create this colorful card I used LJD Spring Tulips with matching Die-namics.  The banners were created using the Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax and the Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Die-namics.

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Here is what I created for today's hop using the Stampin' Up digital download brush set "Perfect Blend".

 

 

 

 

Using a digital cutting software program I arranged my coffee cups with the sentiments in a fun background pattern. I colored them with Stampin' Up! Blendabilities using Soft Sky, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight. I added a fun wooden frame using the SU Photopolymer set "Sweetie Pie Frames".

For Every Momement - MFT Sketch #216 Bonus Card

Hello friends! I am so excited today because tomorrow I am going to the Scrapbook Expo in Grapevine Tx and spending the day with my fellow MFT Challenge design team-mate, and very good friend Erin Lee Schreiner! Yay! Before I leave in the morning I wanted to share a bonus card I created using this weeks MFT Sketch:

 

 

To create my card I used the fun, and trendy Die-Namics Headphones and the coordinating Keep On Rockin' stamp set.  I used the equalizer stamp, and two colors of ink(Cherry Crisp, and Limelight) to create my

multi-color background.

My Favorite Things Sketch #216 - Wavy Birthday Greetings!

 

It's Wednesday and that means it is time for the new MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge! I had so much fun with this sketch, and to check out my colorful gold inspired card in full be sure to visit the MFT Card Challenges Blog!! Your Special Day - Stretching My Creative Wings!

 

I am all caught up this week on DT cards so I had a little time for fun this morning! I am playing along with the current CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge!

 

 

   This card was a labor of love for sure! My window was created by die-cutting a window die 3 times, and punching all of the inner squares out. I glued them together three at a time to create a chipboard effect. Next, using the window as my guide I glued the squares to my card base and took off the window leaving only the squares. I LOVE the way this turned out, and it can be used with so many other dies! The floral stamps are from the WPlus9 "Pretty Peonies" set and a sentiment from a PTI set. Curtain Call Challenge - Donut Forget I Love You!

 

Happy Monday friends! I had a little fun, ok, a LOT of fun creating this card for this weeks Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.

 

  I just received the MFT Feb. release "Donuts and Sprinkles" with matching dies and couldn't wait to play with them! Oh my gosh they are sooo cute! I also used the new Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Flags, and an element from the new Blueprints 22. I cut out my donut twice, and stacked the pieces to add a bit of extra dimension. Happy Valentine's Day

 

 

Happy Valentine's Day! On this day of love, flowers and chocolate, I wanted to share a card I have been working on for a few weeks. Stamping a little here and there, fussy cutting when I had a chance. I finally put it all together yesterday! This card features the beautiful floral set from Altenew "Vintage Roses". This set is so beautiful. I framed my floral centerpiece using the brand new MFT Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stax. To create a little more dimension to my frame I lined the inner frame with vellum. I LOVE the soft look it creates. If you look closely you will see the inner diagonal embossing on the white card stock. I finished off the card with "love you" from the MFT Love and Adore You Die-namics and Black Licorice card stock.

MFT Sketch Challenge #215 - I Love You This Much!

 

 

 Hello and welcome to this weeks My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge!

 

I created an extra card for this weeks sketch using the adorable Pure Innocence Heart Banner stamp set with matching die.

 

 

I also used the adorable Fluttering Hearts die, Stitched Oval Stax, and Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax. I finished off my card with Red Hot button, and a heart die-cut from Tag Builder Blueprints 3.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challange #214 - Mint To Be

   Hello hello! We are back from Florida, and hopefully getting back into the swing of daily life. I created one more card for this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge #214.

    To create my sweet inspired card I used the brand new MFT set "Candy Jar Companions" and Blueprints 21. I stamped my sentiment on Stitched Fishtail Flags Stax. I used Bubblegum, Cherry Crisp, and Licorice Black Premium Dye ink to stamp the mints, and the sentiment.

Do you LOVE the brand new MFT February release?!  I was giddy with excitement when I saw the adorable candy jar and donut stamp sets with coordinating dies! Eeeek!

My Favorite Things Sketch 213 - You Bring Out The Best

Ahhh, what a fun sketch! I had a bit of free time before our week long trip to Florida and I wanted to create one more card using this weeks MFT Sketch 213. 

 



 

To create this whimsical card I used the swirlies from LJD Whimsical Wishes and the Damask background. I added a stitched panel from Stitched Rectangle Stax and Stitched Scallop Edges. The leaves on my roses are from Blueprints 14. I used Cherry Crisp, Kraft, Spearmint, and Sweet Tooth card stock.  The "roses" were stamped with Cherry Crisp Premium Dye ink, and I used the Premium Dye Kraft ink pad to stamp my pattern. The sentiment, from BB You Have My Heart was stamped with Black Licorice.  If you haven't already there is still time to play along with this weeks sketch! 1 random participant will receive a $15 MFT store credit.
