Playing Along With Dynamic Duos!

 

Hello! Happy "hump" day. Today I have a card for you that I created for  this weeks Dynamic Duo Challenge:

 

         I just couldn't resist this challenge! I love those colors together.
To create my card I used the Stampin Up set "Stippled Blossoms" and the SU wood grain embossing folder. I added a hand stitched sentiment using a die from PTI. I hope you like my card! I'm glad you stopped by today and I hope you have a wonderful day!

 

 

Candy Candy Corn!

 

Hello friends! Today I have a fun card to show you that I created for the current Lawnscaping Challenge.

 

     To create my card I used two Lawn Fawn stamp sets "Trick or Treat", and "Heebie Jeebies". These are just the cutest stamps! In keeping with the challenge theme I used patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn "Into The Woods" paper pad, and paper from the Halloween pad by American Crafts.  Nina Yang inspired my wreath with the card she posted HERE. Obviously she used a wreath, and not candy corn but I loved the way she cut around the edges to leave the rest intact.

Fall Flowers And A Challenge Or Two!

 

 

Hello! Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and created a card using this weeks Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge: Layered Emboss Resist. I used the PTI stamp set "Mums The Word". I used SU Dusty Durango to sponge around my embossed blooms.  My card base is PTI's Simply Jane patterned paper.  I am also playing along with this weeks

Happy World Card Making Day - A Trio Of Cards!

 

The day is here, the day we card makers celebrate our favorite past time, card making!

It was a quiet one for me, but I enjoyed spending some time in my craft room working on a handful of cards. My first cards features stamps from Wplus9. Next up:

 

 

 

       I created this card for this weeks Papertrey Ink Make It Monday: Repeat & Lift. I had the flowers left over from extra stamping. I always stamp a few extra flowers and leaves when I make floral cards. And lastly I have this card to show you:

Trick Or Treat!

 

Today is October 1st, and for me, the official start of Fall. I thought I would celebrate today by creating a Halloween themed card using new stamps from Lawn Fawn. I am also playing along with the current Curtain Call Challenge:

I used the set "Trick Or Treat" to create my card. The eggplant frame is from the Simply Jane stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink. The spooktacular patterned paper I used is from American Crafts and can be purchased at your local Target store. I just love it! I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great day!

Sunshine and Happiness - A Recent Publication

        I rarely share pictures of my publications on my blog, but I am especially proud to have 4 cards featured in the August Cards: Stamping issue! I wanted to share my favorite card from the issue. I just love the blue mason jars they used in the picture! I used the Unity "Jar of Sunshine" stamp set to create this card. I'm happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop - Fall Inspired

 

 

Hello! I am excited to be playing along with this months Papertrey Ink Blog Hop! Here is the inspiration:

 

 

      I created my wreath using the Papertrey Ink stamp set "Stitched Sentiments". I wanted to create a fall inspired card, and used three kinds of ink to stamp my card: Stampin Up, A Muse Studio, and Fresh Ink.  I embossed my card base after stamping using the PTI Aida Cloth impression plate.
