MFT Color Challenge 31 - Thankful

 

It's time for a new MFT Color Challenge and this week we have a beautiful, and challenging set of Autumn inspired colors for you to play with.

 

 

I can honestly say I wouldn't have pictured these colors together, but after mixing them together on a card I have to admit I love this striking color combo! Here is my card:

 

  This is my first time to use Die-namics Falling Leaves on a card, and to give them a little more dimension I lightly sponged each of them with the coordinating ink color. It's a very subtle effect, but that's what I was going for. I hope you will give these colors a try because I really want to say other ways they can be used on a card! MFt Sketch Challenge 249 - Like No One Elf

I created a cute Holiday scene with lots of MFT Die-namics, and backgrounds. It is fun adding so much dimension to a card, its almost like telling a story! I colored my Elf and tree with Zig Clean Color pens. LOVE those! Happy WCMD With MFT - Being Your Friend Has Its Perks!

Hooray! Happy World Card Making Day! This is one of my favorite days of the year, a day set aside to celebrate the joys of card making. I have made so many wonderful friends because of card making, and honestly, my life wouldn't be the same without it! Today Susan is over on the MFT Card Challenges Blog with lots of inspiration that will be coming to you throughout the day.
