Hello friends. This card isn't for a challenge, just a card I made because I wanted to use this adorable stamp set! To create my card I used "MSTN Wild Things". And the fun Giraffe Background. I used Stitched Fishtail Flags Stax and Stitched Scallop Edges. I used Kraft Dye ink to stamp the background. I used Lemon Drop, Limeade, and Sweet Tooth card stock. I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

MFT Color Challenge #14 - Quilted Hearts
Hi, me again! I loved the striking color combination from the current MFT Color Challenge and wanted to use them one more time!
To create my quilt inspired card I used Blueprints 20. This Die-namics set is SO popular and is currently in stock!! The "love you" sentiment is from the Die-namics Love and Adore You set that I adhered to a tag using the Die-namics Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax. I die-cut each color of card stock twice, assembled my quilt in the pattern I wanted and adhered my quilt blocks to the frame. Easy peasy! If you haven't already, I hope you will play along with the My Favorite Things Color Challenge!

Valentine, You're A Treasure!
My journey with Stampin' Up! began 11 years ago as a customer. Cute, fun, whimsical images are what drew me in. I am still the same way. I have a major weakness for adorable stamps and as soon as I saw "Hey, Valentine", I had to have it. The patterned paper is from the SU Nautical DSP collection in the main catalog. PERFECT match! I colored the cute little pirate and his parrot using Stampin' UP Blendabilities. I added a bit of fun stitching using twine. The heart is from the "Little Sunshine" stamp set also in the new Occasions catalog. Here is another little something I made using the "Hey, Valentine" set.
I colored the trio of foxes (fox?) using Blendabilities and the DSP is from the "Stacked With Love" paper pad.
I am so happy you stopped by today, and if you would like to order any of the stamps and paper you saw on my blog today send me a message at alwaysctr@yahoo.com or follow me on Instagram @veezalis. Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday - The Card That Almost Was
Funny title? Let me explain, when Paper Crafts magazine closed its doors hundreds of cards that had been picked up for publication were sent back to their owners, never getting their chance to shine in whatever magazine issue they made it in. This was one of those cards! In-fact Lorena Canto and I submitted to the designer call asking for a team of two to submit a card they both designed from the same inspiration. I was so excited to share a page with my dear friend but alas, the card was sent back to me. So, I re-took another picture, and today I am sharing it with you!
To create my card I used ONLY Stampin' Up! product. The beautiful Four Feathers stamp set, the Age Awareness photopolymer set, and DSP from the Color Me Autumn DSP pack from the Holiday catalog. I stamped the feathers using Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Lost Lagoon. I added some of our gold washi, and gold sequins. I LOVED this card and I'm happy I was able to share it here with YOU! Thank YOU for visiting my blog today!

To create my card I used ALL Stampin' Up! products. I loved playing with the new Petal Potpourri and Crazy About You stamp sets and the matching sentiment thinlits! The font is so much fun. I stamped and cut out the pretty petals and attached them just over the same images stamped onto card stock. I colored my flower using Cherry Cobbler, and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch - So Good For My Heart!
Friday is here, FINALLY! It has been a long week, but the upcoming weekend, and the beautiful Spring-like forecast makes it all worth it!
I sat down with this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge #211 and played with the sketch again!
Here is my card!
Here is my card!
To create my card I stamped and colored one of the adorable images from BB You Have My Heart. I stayed true to the sketch this time. I used stitching to add my double lines to the top and bottom of my card. The heart accents were stamped, and die-cut. It was fun mixing the two! I am happy you stopped by and I hope you will play along with us this week at the MFT Sketch Challenge!

The Challenge # 22 - Pretty Poppies
Hello and welcome to The Challenge # 22. This week we have an especially beautiful color combination:
I have a soft spot for all things "poppies", and this set by Clearly Besotted had to come home with me as soon as I saw it! I stamped the sentiment on sticky back linen by Claudine Helmuth Studios by Ranger Ink. As you can see from the picture I was even able to impress the linen backing using a stitched metal die! I am loving the way my card turned out, and I hope you like it too! I hope you'll play along with us at The Challenge!

Brand New Year Brand New Inspiration Brand New Design Team!
Hello and Happy New Year! Today I am ECSTATIC to finally be able to announce my exciting news.
I am joining 5 of my very favorite card makers, and friends as we join Susan Opel, the new Creative Ambassador for My Favorite Things. Today a brand new blog dedicated to weekly color, and sketch challenges is being introduced. There will be SO much inspiration in one place!
I created a card especially for today.
To create my card I used the My Favorite Things Friends Die-namics single die, and a sentiment from the MFT stamp set "Friends Like Us". The polka dot pattern stamped on the strips of Persimmon Prestige card stock, Limelight Prestige card stock, and Tropical Teal Prestige card stock are also from the "Friends Like Us" stamp set. The polka dots were stamped in the coordinating ink colors. I heat embossed the sentiment using white powder, and finished my card with a flower and button from Die-namics Blueprints 14.
We would be THRILLED if you join us on our first challenge on January 5th. Be sure to visit our blog: http://www.cardchallenges.com/2015/01/challenge-inspiration-you.html to find out all the details. Thank you for stopping by!
