{Clean And Simple Wedding Cards}
My next card features stamps from PaperTrey Ink and the same A Muse sentiment from my first card. I used the PTI Anniversary set from 2008. Love all of the pattern elements of this set. I stamped the image several times to create the patterned paper using A Muse Studios Currant pigment ink. I accented the centers with rhinestones. I used my 100 yard role of offray vanilla satin ribbon. I will never run out of this ribbon. LOL. I bought it at the Offray ribbon outlet in Hagerstown MD for $2. Craziness. I added a nice scalloped border with my Martha Stewart punch and finished off the card with the sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Again, another simple card that would be easy to duplicate. I hope I inspire you to create your own clean and simple cards! Today I am playing along with a handful of challenges:

{Easter Chicks}
Good Afternoon and welcome to my blog! I hope everyone had a nice weekend, as always ours went by much too quickly. Today I was able to play for a bit in my card room thanks to a couple of sleepy boys and I created this fun shabby-chic Easter card. The chicks are a digital image from Pink Cat Studios. I colored them with Pro-Markers and cut them out with my Cutterbee paper snips. The beautiful patterned paper is the new "Kitch" collection by Girls Paperie. I bought the 6x6 sampler pack from Claudia and Company. I really love the sampler packs. I never make it thru an entire paper pad, so the samplers are perfect for me. Anyways, I cut the paper into 4 squares and matted them with GP white card stock. I then used my Janome to add the zig-zag stitching around all 4 pieces. I then attached them to a Kraft card base. The nice Nestabilities-like shape was cut out using my Cricut and SCAL software. I attached the chicks with foam dots and added the vintage lace and bow. I thought pearls would be a fun way to accent the border of the large shape, and then I added the pretty mini rosettes from Michael's Recollections collection. I added a pearl accent below the roses also. The Easter sentiment is from A Muse Studios.

{No Place Like Gnome}
Good Afternoon! Gnomes seem to be quite popular lately and I can see why because they are so darn cute. Today at Cupcake Inspirations we are being sponsored by Whimsie Doodles and they were nice enough to let the design team play along with some of their newly released images. I colored my gnome home with Promarkers and Copics. I paper pieced the roof using SU dsp from the "Brights" paper pad. I cut out the window, colored it with Copics, and added a nice thick layer of glassy glaze. Now for this card and for the first time ever I used flocking in two shades of green on the shrubbery outside of the gnome home. I LOVE how it turned out, and now I need more shades of flocking! The green patterned paper is from a DCWV paper stack, and the red is more DSP from SU. I used my SU ribbon scallop punch and my Fiskars threading water punch. I finished off this card by adding a brad to the door for the door knob, and adding maraschino red bakers twine from The Twinery tied with a red shiny button. {A Sheltering Tree and Blog Candy Winners}
Ahh, Friday is finally here, what a long week this has been! Today I will be picking the winners of my bakers twine blog candy, and my A Muse Studios blog candy with the help of random.org. But first let me tell you about the card I created today! Everything I used to make this card is from A Muse Studios except for the bakers twine and the cloudy sky patterned paper. I started by stamping the tree on two colors of card stock that I cut out. I did the same thing with the kite only I used A Muse gingham card stock. I stamped the sun (a marigold stamp) on the patterned paper, and again on white card stock and punched it out with a 1 1/2 circle punch. I used a pop dot to adhere it to the patterned paper. I cut the grass out using my Cricut, and SCAL software and then sponged it with A Muse pigment ink in Lichen, and Grass. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE A Muse Ink?? I attached the tree using foam dots, and then stamped the sentiment on the same sky patterned paper and adhered it to the card. I added some A Muse stitched ribbon and bakers twine to finish off the card. This card makes me happy! Now lets pick out a couple of winners! I used random.org to pick out the winners of my two blog candies, the bakers twine and buttons, and the A Muse Ribbon and catalog candy the winner of the Bakers Twine candy is:

{Thinking of You}
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I wanted to play with some of the new cling stamps by Inkadinkado I received last week. They really are top quality stamps and I highly recommend them! I colored the floral image with Copics, Pro-Markers, Bic Markits and SU pastels. The patterned paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl collection, and I stamped the main image on SU Very Vanilla. The sentiment is from the A Muse "Essential Sentiments" set. I finished off the card with ruffled ribbon from Hobby Lobby and a button, and floss. Today I am playing along with a few challenges:

{Pretty Pink Buttons}
Happy Monday and welcome to my blog! I hope this Monday is treating you well. So far it has been a great day here with my boys. Today my card features a "Go-To" sketch from Paper Crafts Magazine that is a perfect way to use buttons! If you are anything like me you probably have tons of buttons. I used to be bad about hoarding my favorite embellishments but lately I have been using them a lot more and have found it to be liberating. Try it, you'll see what I mean! Ok now back to the card, the stamps I used are from Unity Stamp Co "Just a Note" and they are a part of the Itty Bitty line by Jillibean Soup. The patterned paper I used is the Echo Park "Springtime" collection. I stamped the polkadot label in SU Melon Mambo, and the sentiment in SU Espresso. The cute stitched ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I finished off the card with a machine stitched border. Today I am playing along with a few challenges:

{Best Fishes}
Happy Friday everyone! Today was a lonnng day, but thankfully we got thru it. We've all been trading a nasty flu bug that just won't go away. Despite all that I was able to play with some goodies I received in the mail today, some of Inkadinkado's brand new cling stamps. They are awesome, and I hope they plan on creating more designs! For my card I used the super cute "fish" cling stamps. I colored them with pro-markers. The patterned paper is from Big Lots that I picked up last weekend. I added some long neglected dew drops for the "bubbles", and added two colors of bakers twine. I finished off the card by adding a row of cute mini buttons and the sentiment.
