{YNS Fun Friday - Christmas In July}

Hello and welcome to Fun Friday with Your Next Stamp! Our monthly theme is "Christmas In July". I know lots of crafters that start working on Christmas cards this time of year. Why not get a head start! To create my card I used the YNS stamp set "Happy Holidays", and the matching die set. I stamped the main image on patterned paper, and cut out the trees using the matching metal die. {Thinking Of You - Bright and Bold}

I used to be 100% Stampin Up, but as time went by and so many wonderful companies started creating beautiful stamps I pretty much fell away from SU stamps. I still use my SU ink pads all the time but stamps, not so much. That is until I saw "Stippled Blossoms". I had to have this stamp! It reminds me of my beloved SU "Wild Rose".  Last week I put in my first SU order in over 2 years and Monday my order arrived. I wanted to play with Stippled Blossoms right away and this weeks color challenge at CR84FN gave me the perfect reason! LOVE this color combo!

  I stamped my flower using Barely Banana, and Summer Sun. I used the Canvas background stamp, and Crumb Cake to create my background for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from the PTI Set Think Big Favorites #7.  My ribbon is by Offray, and I bought it in the fabric dpt at Wal Mart.  I hope you like my card and thank you for visiting my blog today!
                                                                                  

{Cloud9 Blog Hop}

 Hello friends! Today I am excited to play along with the very first Cloud9 blog hop! I love Wplus9 stamps so playing along with the monthly challenges is going to be SO much fun!! Here is our inspiration picture:

  The inspiration for my card came from the bright colors, the patterned back drop, and the big hanging flowers. I used the Wplus9 set "Background Builders Hearts", and "Fresh Picked" to create my card. I stamped my colorful heart background using my pigment ink pads from A Muse Studio, and Fresh Ink pads.  I stamped, and cut out (yes, I STILL need to order the matching dies) the larger strawberry from Fresh Picked and turned them into a flower. I accented the center with a felt flower, and yellow button. I hope you like my card because I had fun creating it!

{You're Tea-Riffic Tuesday Trigger}

Good Sunday Afternoon! Today I am here with a card for this weeks Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. Look at this beautiful inspiration picture!

 I have a weakness for red flowers, so playing along this week was a no brainer! To create my card I channeled my inner "Laurie Willison" and decided to try my hand at  creating a super clean, and simple card. Laurie is one of my idols, and a sweet friend. To create my card I used a stamp set (for the first time) by I {Heart} Papers "Petal Press" line called Summer Garden. This set is SO cute and so perfect for this challenge! The sentiment is from the My Time Made Easy set "On Display". I tried to capture the colors of the Tuesday Trigger picture, and I envisioned an afternoon tea with friends. So I decided to go with a tea cup filled with flowers! I colored my flowers with Copic Markers. I paper pieced  the tea cup using text patterned paper from the "Sweet Day" collection by Echo Park. Today I am also playing along with the CAS-ual Friday challenge! (Sorry for flooding your gallery ladies, hehe.)

{Colors Of The Rainbow}

I am here with a quick post to show you a card I created using PTI Beautiful Butterflies, and Text Background Basics. I stamped the text stamp in 5 colors of pigment ink. I stamped the butterflies in matching ink and attached them to my card using foam squares. The inspiration for my card came from the current challenge at CAS-ual Fridays:

Let me show you what I created for today's New Release Blog Hop!

   To create my card I used the new set by Anne Ellis "Sun Hat". This set is SO much fun. I just love the sun, and the cool shades he is wearing. I colored my sun using copic and pro markers. I added some glassy glaze to give his sun glasses a little shine. I spritzed my card with "Thatched Roof Cottage" by Tattered Angels. I had fun adding so many buttons to my card, and I didn't even put a small dent in my button "collection". hah!

{Thankful For You}

There are so many people I am thankful for, and if I could I would send each of them a card. That is something I just have to get better at....sending cards. To create this pink inspired card I used the WPlus9 stamp set "Hope Seed Co". I colored the floral centerpiece using blender pens and SU ink. I also used my Shell, and Sugar pigment ink pads from A Muse Studio. The seed packet frame was stamped using SU Crumb Cake. I have a new love...Spellbinders M-Bossibilities!!  Be still my heart! {Thank You For Our Freedom}

Today is the 4th of July here in the USA so today I thought it would be fun, and fitting, to create a patriotic card. I used the Lawn Fawn set "Lunar Lights", and "Chatterbox" from Practicing Creativity. I paper pieced the lanterns in good ol' red white and blue patterned paper from the Dots and Stripes collection by Echo Park. The super cute star print ribbons are from The Ribbon Carousel. The speckled card stock is from the Neutrals collection by Wausau Paper. Today I am playing along with a couple of challenges:

{Pretty In Pink}

 Hello! Today I am here to show you a card I created using the Papertrey Ink set "Lovely Layers". I love this set! I stamped the flowers in 4 shades of pink, Bubblegum, and Shell from A Muse Studio, and Pretty In Pink and Pink Pirouette from Stampin Up. I heat embossed the bottom layer using white embossing powder that I stamped directly on my patterned paper. This is the challenge for this weeks PTI Make It Monday.

{Your Next Stamp July Release Sneak Peek}

  Hello friends! I am happy to give you a little peak of the YNS July Release! To create my card I used a stamp set from our newest artist:

I am loving her style and can't wait to show you the full release! To create my card I stamped the dotted circle many, many times in several different colors of pigment ink. I added bakers twine in matching colors.  And next I stamped the butterfly in 3 different colors and fussy cut each one. I finished off my card with pretty little rhinestones.
