{A Card For a Great Cause}

The amazingly talented Cammie is hosting a contest called the "Heart to Heart Card Drive" to benefit the caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's. There is an amazing prize package for one lucky winner and details can be found by clicking on the link above.  For my card today I used the Stampin' Up! set "Fifth Avenue Floral". I stamped the rose three times, and paper pieced a few of the rose petals to give the flower a 3-d effect. I used ink and a blender pen to color the flower. I used the SU Manhattan embossing folder, and the sentiment, which I think is perfect, is a Hero Arts clear set.  I hope that you will join this cause, and get a chance at winning literally one of the bets paper-crafting prize packages I have ever seen! Thank you for visiting my blog today!

So lovely! Love the way you blended the color to add color to the flower and love the dimension!

Stunning! I love how you layered the rose and only colored the edges of the flower. I've almost bought this set so many times, but now I think I HAVE to have it. :) And so perfect for the reason behind creating it...
